2023年11月6日~11月19日,北京师范大学“社会性科学议题学习(SSI-L)”项目组在两所北京师范大学基础教育发展管理部“撷英计划”合作校,即北京师范大学附属实验中学、北京师范大学亚太实验学校,继续开展集体备课、课堂观察以及课后讨论等一系列教学研究活动。

在新一轮的教学研究工作中,合作校教师组织学生开展小组合作学习,继续引导学生科学论证。项目负责人林静带领团队精心打磨教学方案,并与合作校教师围绕课堂教学实施情况展开研讨,林静进一步强调了以非指导性教学激发学生深度思考,让学生学会运用证据论证观点、建立证据与结论之间的联系。项目办还于11月8日组织两所合作校于北京师范大学附属实验中学进行线上+线下研讨,特邀SSI-L项目学科指导专家、北京师范大学附属实验中学生物特级教师林祖荣莅临线下会场给予指导。合作校教师交流了上课经验,团队成员就课时安排、引导学生转变错误概念、课堂效率与学生参与度等问题进行了研讨。一系列听课、备课、研讨工作的开展推进了项目研究的持续前行。

From November 6th to November 19th, 2023, the Beijing Normal University Socio-Scientific Issues Learning Project office continued to carry out a series of teaching and research activities, such as collective course preparation, classroom observations, and after-class discussions, in two partner schools of the BNU Basic Education Development and Management Department’s Xieying Program — the Experimental High School Attached to Beijing Normal University, and the Asia-Pacific Experimental School of Beijing Normal University.

In the new round of teaching and research work, teachers from partner schools organized students to do group cooperative learning and continued to guide students to do scientific argumentation. The SSI-L Project leader Lin Jing led the team to deliberately polish teaching plans and held discussions with teachers from partner schools around teaching implementation. Lin Jing further emphasized the use of non-directive teaching to stimulate students’ in-depth thinking, allowing students to use evidence to support arguments and establish connections between evidence and conclusion. On November 8, the project office also organized a seminar between the two partner schools, from both online and offline, at the Experimental High School Attached to Beijing Normal University. The seminar specially invited Lin Zurong, the disciplinary guidance expert of the SSI-L project and a special-rank biology teacher at the Experimental High School Attached to Beijing Normal University, to attend the offline meeting and offer suggestions. Teachers from two partner schools exchanged their teaching experiences. Team members discussed issues such as teaching hour arrangement, guiding students to change misconceptions, class efficiency, and students’ participation. A series of activities including lecture listening, course preparation, and seminars has in fact promoted the continuous progress of project research.
