[SSI Learning] 社会性科学议题学习基地校校长教师参观学习北师大二附中实验室

为协助各区域教师学习优秀教学经验,提升科学思维与实践的教学能力,2021年5月6日下午,在“以社会性科学议题学习促立德树人”基地校校长会议召开前夕,在北京师范大学第二附属中学校领导的支持下,社会性科学议题学习项目区域负责人、基地校校长、骨干教师等40余人进入北师大二附中实验室参观学习,项目组学科指导专家组组长、物理特级教师彭梦华老师接待了各位参观人员。

二附中申敬红书记致欢迎词,欢迎各基地校参观交流二附中实验教学工作。与会者首先参观了位于二附中实验楼二层的生物实验室与器乐制作实验室,然后移步四楼的三个物理实验室。在40余年的教学生涯中,彭老师亲手制作了几千件物理教具,三个实验室中琳琅满目的设备发明也只是其作品的冰山一角。大到高压放电装置,小到体现动画原理的发光转盘,都是彭老师教育智慧和实践能力的体现。在参观过程中,彭老师和韩老师为与会者演示教具的使用方法、讲解背后的物理原理并畅谈教具对学生物理学习的重要价值。彭老师谈到,科学不是习题堆积出来的,而需要在实验、实践中用心感受。

北师大二附中是社会性科学议题学习项目基地校之一。在本学期议题“电声乐器能取代传统乐器吗?”的学习中,学生在彭老师、韩老师等二附中社会性科学议题学习项目组老师的指导下制作电声乐器。在参观过程中,彭老师也展示了自己制作的电吉他、电二胡等乐器,为大家讲解电乐器的工作原理和制作过程,并现场演奏了《赛马》一曲。彭老师谈到,学生在自己制作乐器的过程中体会到将原理落实为实践的困难,他们在不断的尝试中逐渐发现乐器的发声规律,并以此不断完善自己的作品。他相信,学生通过实践将更加深刻地理解其原理知识。彭老师还特意自制一把二胡,赠予杭州市三墩中学。

两个小时的参观时间如白驹过隙,意犹未尽。基地校校长们、教师们均被彭老师数量庞大、精致巧妙的教具所震撼,纷纷表示由衷的敬佩与羡慕。大家一致认为,如果高中时能够跟随彭老师学习,真是求学过程中的一大幸事!

本次参观中彭老师丰富的教具作品和精彩的讲解,体现出他对物理教学的热爱和深刻理解。本次实验室之行为教师拓展教学思路、提升教学实践能力提供了诸多帮助,进一步助推各基地校社会性科学议题学习课程的顺利开展。


In order to assist the teachers in each region to learn the excellent teaching experience and improve their scientific thinking and practical teaching ability, on the afternoon of May 6, 2021, before the meeting of headmasters of partner schools with a theme of “Promoting Moral Education through Socio-scientific Issue Learning”, a delegation of over 40 members including regional heads of SSI-L project, headmasters and backbone teachers of partner schools paid a visit to the laboratory of the Second High School Affiliated to Beijing Normal University. The delegation was received by Peng Menghua, the head of subject guidance expert panel of the project group and a special-ranked physics teacher.

Secretary Shen Jinghong, the leader of the Second Affiliated High School delivered a welcome speech to the delegation of partner schools for their visit and exchange on the experimental teaching of the school. They first visited the biological laboratory and musical instrument production laboratory on the second floor of the laboratory building, and then visited the three physics laboratories on the fourth floor. In his teaching career of over 40 years, the teacher Peng has made thousands of physics teaching aids. The devices and inventions displayed in the three laboratories were just some of his works, ranging from high voltage discharge device to the luminous dial used to demonstrate the animation principle, all of which reflected his education wisdom and practical ability. During the visit, two teachers Peng and Han demonstrated the uses of teaching aids and explained their physical principles and highlighted the great value of teaching aids to the students’ physics learning. Peng said, the learning of science depends on careful experiments and practices rather than homework and exercises.

The school is one of the partner schools of SSI-L project. In the learning of the topic “Can electroacoustic musical instruments replace traditional ones?” in this semester, the students learned to produce electroacoustic musical instruments under the guidance of the teachers Peng and Han. During their visit, the teacher Peng showed the musical instruments such as electric guitar and erhu made by himself, explained the working principle and production steps of electroacoustic musical instruments and played a piece of music “Horse Racing” at the site. Peng said, the students could experience the difficulty of putting the principles into practice in the production of musical instruments. In constant attempts, they gradually discovered the sound production law of musical instruments and kept improving their works. He believed that the students would understand the principles more deeply through practice. Peng also made a piece of erhu especially and gave it to Sandun Middle School as a gift.

The two-hour visit was so short. The headmasters and teachers of partner schools were all surprised by a large number of delicate and ingenuous teaching aids made by the teacher Peng, and expressed their admiration from the bottom of heart. They all agreed that if it would have been their great fortune if they could learn with the teacher Peng during their senior high school years.

In the visit, the diverse teaching aids and wonderful explanation of the teacher Peng showed his deep enthusiasm and understanding of physics teaching. The visit has offered great help for the teachers to expand their teaching thought and improve their teaching skills and further facilitated the smooth facilitation of SSI-L project in each partner school.
