2023年5月24日下午,北京师范大学第二附属中学社会性科学议题学习(SSI-L)合作研究项目研讨会在高中部博学楼506会议室召开。中国基础教育质量监测协同创新中心科学提升部主任林静、项目学科指导专家组组长、北京师范大学第二附属中学物理学科特级教师彭梦华出席本次会议,与北师大二附中SSI-L教师社团成员就“校园碳中和”项目设计开展了研讨。会议由北京师大二附中高中部物理组韩立新老师主持。

会议伊始,韩立新对项目基本思路进行了介绍,包括“社会性科学议题(SSI)介绍”、“背景学习:能源利用的国际与国内背景”、“数据收集:高中校园碳排放的主要来源”、“建模计算:可再生能源的充分利用”以及“方案设计:二附中未来校园”。

项目负责人林静对二附中“校园碳中和”议题的初步设想给予了肯定,并建议:在背景学习方面加强数据收集;在方案设计的过程中,让学生意识到日常生活行为对碳中和的重要性;在驱动性问题的设计上,可以考虑碳中和的原因、系统模型、要素及其关系等方面。

彭梦华就项目设计提出如下建议:项目标题可以修改为“校园碳中和——以二附中为例”;该项目已涉及物理、生物、地理三个学科,建议加入化学学科,补充新能源汽车电池或化学能等内容;碳中和校园的方案和模型设计可以不局限于二附中校内。

会议最后,全体与会教师围绕“校园碳中和”项目的课程实施流程、形式等方面进行了详细的研讨,并确定了驱动性问题的设计方向与具体任务。

On the afternoon of May 24, 2023, the SSI-L Cooperation and Research Project Seminar at the Second High School Attached to Beijing Normal University was held in Conference Room 506 of Boxue Building of the Senior High School Department. Lin Jing, director of the Science Development Department of the Collaborative Innovation Center of Assessment for Basic Education Quality, and Peng Menghua, head of the Disciplinary Guidance Expert Team of the SSI-L Project and a Special-Rank Teacher of the Physics Department of the Second High School Attached to Beijing Normal University attended the meeting. They had a discussion on  design of the “Carbon Neutrality on Campus” project with members of the SSI-L Teachers Association of the high school. The meeting was chaired by Mr. Han Lixin from the Physics Team of the Senior High School Department at the Second High School Attached to Beijing Normal University.

At the beginning of the meeting, Han Lixin gave a brief introduction on the basic ideas of the project, including “Introduction to SSI”, “Background Studies: International and Domestic Background of Energy Utilization”, “Data Collection: Main Sources of Carbon Emission on High School Campus”, “Modelling and Computing: Full Utilization of Renewable Energy”, and “Planning: Future Campus of Our High School”.

Lin Jing, head of the SSI-L Project, affirmed the preliminary ideas about the issue of “Carbon Neutrality on Campus”. She suggested enhancing data collection in background studies; during the project design process, students should be aware of the importance of their daily behaviour for carbon neutrality; when designing the driving questions, consider the causes, systematic model, factors and relationships with carbon neutrality.

Peng Menghua offered suggestions on the project design as follows: The project title could be modified into “Carbon Neutrality on Campus—A Case Study of the Second High School Attached to Beijing Normal University”; as the project already covers the subjects of physics, biology and geography, it is proposed to add chemistry to complement the content of new energy vehicle batteries or chemical energy, etc.; the plan and model design of “Carbon Neutrality on Campus” are not limited to this campus.

Finally, all teachers had a detailed discussion on the curriculum implementation process and form of the “Carbon Neutrality on Campus” project, and determined the design direction and specific tasks for its driving question.
