2024年4月24日19:00-21:00,社会性科学议题学习“撷英计划”项目组在腾讯会议室举行了月度研讨活动,主要围绕课程进展、教学情况、下一阶段计划开展研讨。会议由SSI-L项目负责人林静老师主持,SSI-L项目办成员、“撷英计划”参与校北京师范大学附属实验学校、北京师范大学亚太实验学校项目组全体教师在线参与。

会议开始,北京师范大学附属实验学校王成老师、北京师范大学亚太实验学校武慧娜老师依次对本校SSI-L课程进展、教学情况、下一步计划等内容进行汇报,并提出了目前教学中的问题。武慧娜老师还围绕本学期剩余的教学内容,对教学设计、教学安排及教学资源进行了详细的阐述,为下一步教学开展做了充分的准备。

随后,SSI-L项目办成员与两所合作校项目成员围绕提出的问题及后续课程教学方向开展交流讨论,不仅为提出的问题提供了解决方案,两所合作校也互相借鉴了彼此优秀的教学经验。同时围绕本学期即将开展的校外实践活动方案进行了研讨,达成了围绕各校教学实际创设学生与邀请嘉宾互动的活动共识。

最后,项目负责人林静老师对会议进行总结,强调了本学期的教学方向,鼓励教师继续探索科学建模与社会性科学推理的科学思维与实践教学,将学习主动权交给学生,注重学生思维加工、生成性学习,也期待两所合作校在接下来的教学中有更好的收获。

 

On April 24, 2024, from 19:00 to 21:00, the Xieying Program of SSI-L Project held its monthly seminar via Tencent Meeting. The seminar focused on the implementation progress of the courses and plans for the next phase. The meeting was chaired by Lin Jing, head of the SSI-L project, with members of the SSI-L project office and all teachers from the participating schools — the Experimental High School Attached to Beijing Normal University and the Asia-Pacific Experimental School of Beijing Normal University — attending online.

The meeting began with presentations delivered by Wang Cheng of the Experimental High School Attached to Beijing Normal University and Wu Huina of the Asia-Pacific Experimental School of Beijing Normal University. They each detailed their school’s progress in SSI-L courses, current teaching situations, and the next plans, while also highlighting existing problems in the teaching process. Wu Huina further elaborated on the teaching design, teaching arrangements, and teaching resources around the remaining course content for this semester, making full preparations for the upcoming teaching tasks.

Following these presentations, members of the SSI-L project office and the two partner schools engaged in discussions regarding the raised questions and the direction of subsequent course teaching. They not only provided solutions to the problems, but also exchanged and learned from each other’s teaching experience. Additionally, they discussed the plans for upcoming off-campus practice activities, reaching a consensus on creating interactive activities between students and guests based on each school’s teaching reality.

Finally, the project leader Lin Jing summarized the meeting, emphasizing the teaching direction for this semester. She encouraged teachers to continue exploring scientific thinking and practice teaching on scientific modeling and socio-scientific reasoning, giving students more autonomy in learning, and focusing on the processing of students’ thinking and generative learning. She also expressed her hopes for better outcomes in the upcoming teaching activities at both partner schools.
