社会性科学议题学习项目“撷英计划”工作周报(20231008~20231022)

2023年10月8日~10月22日,北京师范大学“社会性科学议题学习(SSI-L)”项目办在2所北京师范大学基础教育发展管理部“撷英计划”合作校,即北京师范大学附属实验中学、北京师范大学亚太实验学校,继续开展集体备课、课堂观察以及课后讨论等一系列教学研究活动。

在前期工作中,项目团队逐一围绕如何将学生带入社会性科学议题学习情景、如何引导学生注册与使用WISE平台、如何鼓励小组合作学习等问题开展教学设计与课堂实施。国庆节后,项目团队继续围绕如何开展以学生为中心的课堂、如何引导学生进行科学论证等新问题开展研讨。在研讨活动中,大家集思广益,合作校教师勇于接受挑战,精心设计教学活动、不断打磨教学方案,成功带入学生积极投入到课堂小组活动之中,顺利推进SSI-L课堂教学研究工作。

From October 8 to October 22, 2023, the Beijing Normal University Socio-Scientific Issues Learning Project office continued to carry out a series of teaching and research activities, such as collective course preparation, classroom observations, and after-class discussions, in two partner schools of the Beijing Normal University Basic Education Development and Management Department’s Xieying Program — the Experimental High School Attached to Beijing Normal University, and the Asia-Pacific Experimental School of Beijing Normal University.

In the preliminary work, the project team carried out teaching design and classroom implementation activities around issues such as how to bring students into SSI learning contexts, how to guide students to register and use the WISE platform, and how to encourage group cooperative learning. After the National Day Holiday, the project team continued to conduct discussions on new issues such as how to do student-centered classes and how to guide students to develop scientific argumentation. During the discussion, everyone’s ideas were pulled together. Teachers from partner schools were prepared to take the challenge, carefully designed teaching activities, constantly polished teaching plans, managed to encourage students to actively participate in classroom group activities, and thus greatly promoted SSI-L classroom teaching research.
