2023年11月20日~12月3日,北京师范大学“社会性科学议题学习(SSI-L)”项目组在两所北京师范大学基础教育发展管理部“撷英计划”合作校,即北京师范大学附属实验中学、北京师范大学亚太实验学校,继续开展集体备课、课堂观察以及课后讨论等一系列教学研究活动。
两所合作校教师继续探索如何引导学生开展科学论证,让学生建构坐标图分析全球气温变化数据,尝试建立观点与证据之间的关系。北师大亚太实验学校教师进一步引导学生在认识全球变暖危害的基础上初步认识模型。伴随着新一单元课堂教学的开展,项目负责人林静带领团队就课程进度安排、课堂设施的完善等问题展开研讨,并结合课堂实施情况,强调围绕教学目标设计教学活动、促成学生在课堂上生成性学习等的重要性。持续的团队教学研究工作推进了项目稳步前行。
From November 20th to December 3rd, 2023, the Beijing Normal University Socio-Scientific Issues Learning Project office continued to carry out a series of teaching and research activities, such as collective course preparation, classroom observations, and after-class discussions, in two partner schools of the BNU Basic Education Development and Management Department’s Xieying Program — the Experimental High School Attached to Beijing Normal University, and the Asia-Pacific Experimental School of Beijing Normal University.
Teachers from the two partner schools continued to explore how to guide students to make scientific arguments, by asking them to create coordinate graphs to analyze data on the change of temperature across the world, and try to establish connections between arguments and evidence. Teachers from the Asia-Pacific Experimental School of Beijing Normal University have further walked students through the preliminary understanding of the model based on their knowledge of the hazards of global warming. As the new unit of class teaching unfolds, Lin Jing, head of the SSI-L Project, has led the team to discuss issues such as the course schedule and improvement of classroom facilities. Combined with the teaching implementation process, she emphasized the significance of activity design around teaching objectives and the development of students’ generative learning in class. Such continuous work on teaching research has propelled the steady progress of the project.
