2023年2月22日下午,北京师范大学第二附属中学社会性科学议题学习(SSI-L)合作研究项目研讨会在高中部博学楼614会议室召开。中国基础教育质量监测协同创新中心科学提升部主任林静、项目学科指导专家组组长彭梦华、SSI-L项目组团队成员出席本次会议,北师大二附中相红英副校长、教学处姜涛副主任、SSI-L教师社团成员就本校依托SSI-L开展跨学科教学合作研究进行讨论。会议由北京师大二附中高中部物理组韩立新老师主持。
会议伊始,相红英副校长对本次合作研究给予了充分的肯定,表达了祝贺,并提出了要求与期望。SSI-L是实现跨学科教学的路径,有助于促进学科与学科之间的合作与融合,有利于拓展学生的批判性思维等高阶思维与能力。相校长期望本项目最终的成果既能呈现在课程设计中,也能在学术研究论文等方面有所体现。
接着,韩立新老师介绍了SSI-L项目以及我校SSI-L跨学科教学的缘起。我校项目自2020年12月开始起步,经历“电声乐器——保留传统还是开拓创新”、“太阳能光伏系统”等多个项目的改进与迭代,期间成立SSI-L教师社团并与北师大项目组达成合作,共同研究,开发SSI-L课程,初步形成“专家组—教师社团—授课教师”的合作框架。
之后,项目负责人林静副教授进一步明确了SSI-L项目的研究内涵及目的,强调了社会性科学议题学习跨学科实践的重要性,并表示北京师大二附中作为北师大直属附校,师资雄厚,学生优秀,期待在本次合作研究中达到促进学生发展、助力教师成长的目标。
随后,项目组何薇薇老师就《过程性材料的收集》进行了主题分享,表示项目研究中的过程性材料包括教师作品、学生作品、课堂音视频、活动材料、教师感悟和研讨记录等。过程性材料的及时收集与整理有助于教师形成教学案例和论文等成果,发展本校的SSI-L课程资源库。
最后,全体与会教师围绕“电声乐器——保留传统还是开拓创新”项目的跨学科合作、评价方式等方面进行了详细的研讨,林静老师、彭梦华老师提出了相应的建议。
社会性科学议题学习(SSI-L)项目是我校对跨学科教学的进一步探索,旨在通过合作研究,促进课程开发,助力教师成长,引领学生全面发展。相信在各位专家的指导下,北师大二附中社会性科学议题学习项目能够进一步顺利开展。

On the afternoon of February 22, 2023, the SSI-L Cooperation and Research Project Seminar at the Second Affiliated Middle School of Beijing Normal University was held in Conference Room 614, Boxue Building, Senior High School Department. Lin Jing, director of the Science Development Department of the Collaborative Innovation Center of Assessment for Basic Education Quality, Peng Menghua, head of the Disciplinary Guidance Expert Team of the SSI-L Project, and members of the SSI-L project team attended the meeting. Xiang Hongying, vice principal of the Second Affiliated Middle School of Beijing Normal University, Jiang Tao, deputy director of the Teaching Office, and members of the SSI-L Teachers Association discussed the SSI-L based interdisciplinary teaching cooperation research carried out by the school. The meeting was chaired by Mr. Han Lixin from the Physics Team of the Senior High School Department at the Second Affiliated Middle School of Beijing Normal University.
At the beginning of the meeting, vice principal Xiang Hongying spoke highly of the cooperative research, expressed congratulations to all, and put forward her requirements and expectations. SSI-L is a path to achieve interdisciplinary teaching, which helps to promote cooperation and integration between disciplines, and is conducive to expanding students’ higher-order thinking and abilities such as critical thinking. Xiang hoped that the final project results can be presented not only in curriculum design, but also in academic research articles.
Then, Mr. Han Lixin introduced the SSI-L project and the origin of the school’s SSI-L interdisciplinary teaching. The project started in December 2020, and experienced the improvement and iteration of many projects, such as “Electroacoustic Musical Instruments—Keeping Tradition or Pioneering Innovation” and “Solar Photovoltaic System”. During this period, the school established the SSI-L Teachers Association and reached cooperation with the SSI-L project team at BNU. The two teams have jointly conducted research, developed SSI-L curriculum, and preliminarily formed a cooperation framework of “expert team-teachers association-teachers”.
Next, Dr. Lin Jing, head of the SSI-L Project, further clarified the research connotation and purpose of the SSI-L project and emphasized the importance of interdisciplinary practice in SSI learning. She said that the Second Affiliated Middle School of Beijing Normal University, as a directly affiliated school of BNU, has highly qualified teachers and excellent students, and that it is expected to achieve the goal of promoting students’ development and teachers’ development in this cooperative research.
Afterwards, He Weiwei from the project team shared a themed presentation on “Collecting Procedural Materials”. She said that the procedural materials in project research include teacher’s works, student’s works, classroom audios and videos, activity materials, teacher’s reflections, seminar minutes, etc. The timely collection and arrangement of procedural materials helps teachers develop teaching cases, organize journal articles and other achievements, and expand the school’s SSI-L course database.
Finally, all teachers had a detailed discussion on the interdisciplinary cooperation and evaluation methods of the project “Electroacoustic Musical Instruments-Keeping Tradition or Pioneering Innovation”. Lin Jing and Peng Menghua offered suggestions.
The SSI-L project is the school’s further inquiry into interdisciplinary teaching. It aims to promote curriculum development, facilitate teacher’s development, and lead students to obtain all-round development through collaborative research. It is believed that under the guidance of all experts, the SSI-L project at the Second Affiliated Middle School of Beijing Normal University will be carried out smoothly.
