首都师范大学附属育新学校“社会性科学议题学习”项目合作研讨会顺利举行 (2024-05-07)

2024年5月7日上午,北京师范大学与首都师范大学附属育新学校“社会性科学议题学习”项目合作研究研讨会在首都师范大学附属育新学校中学部图书馆会议室顺利举办。北京教科院研究员耿申老师、北京师范大学第二附属中学物理学科特级教师彭梦华等出席会议,与首都师范大学附属育新学校课程中心唐枫主任、级部曹学龙主任以及项目组成员就本校SSI-L课程开展讨论。

会议伊始,唐枫主任首先分享了学校议题活动实施改进情况、新议题的设计进展,并提出“与饮料有关的新议题如何进行课程的顶层设计与优化”等具体研讨主题;与会专家对目前的课程进度及实施效果给予了肯定,并强调了问题的价值以及以学生为主体的任务设计的重要性。

经过与会人员的思维碰撞后,基于已有议题“如何认识酒和饮酒行为”的课程设计思路,在人工智能的辅助下,初步明确新议题为“理性认识饮料”,课程名称为“甜蜜诱惑:饮料探秘乐园”、驱动性问题及课程内容。耿申老师还指出本议题的社会性更广泛,更切合小学生、初中生的生活实际,更具有价值;议题的开展要引导学生自主建构观点,形成“爱喝哪种,因人而异;该喝多少,过则为灾”的适度意识和自控能力。

本次研讨会的讨论氛围热烈,与会成员畅所欲言,互相启发,为项目组提供了切实可行的行动建议,并明确了下一阶段课程建设的方向。

On the morning of May 7, 2024, a collaborative research seminar on the Socio-Scientific Issues Learning project between Beijing Normal University and Yuxin School Affiliated to Capital Normal University was successfully held in the library conference room of the high school department of Yuxin School. Geng Shen, a researcher at the Beijing Academy of Educational Sciences, and Peng Menghua, a special-rank physics teacher of the Second Affiliated Middle School of Beijing Normal University, attended the meeting. They discussed the school’s SSI-L curriculum with Tang Feng, director of the school’s Curriculum Center, Cao Xuelong, head of the grade department, and other project members.

At the beginning of the meeting, Director Tang Feng first shared the implementation and adjustment the school’s SSI-L activities, as well as the new issue design progress. She then proposed specific topics for discussion, such as “How to conduct top-level design and optimization of SSI courses for the new beverage-related issues”. The experts present affirmed the current progress and implementation effects of the course, emphasizing the value of the issues and the importance of student-centered task design.

After a clash of ideas among the participants, based on the idea of curriculum design of the existing issue “How to understand alcohol and drinking behaviour,” with the assistance of artificial intelligence, it was initially clarified that the new issue is “Rational understanding of beverages”. The course was named “Sweet temptation: beverage discovery wonderland”, driving questions, and course content. Geng Shen pointed out that this issue is of broader social significance, more in line with the actual life of primary school and junior high school students, and thus more valuable. The SSI implementation should guide students to independently construct their own viewpoints, developing their sense of moderation and self-control ability based on the principle that it varies from person to person in terms of the type of drink they like, and that excess leads to disaster in terms of the quantity of drink they should have.

The discussion atmosphere of this seminar was enthusiastic, with participants speaking freely and inspiring each other. It provided practical action suggestions for the project team, and clarified the direction of curriculum construction for the next stage.
